Colne Music and Food Festival – 25th-27th August 2017
The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival returns to Colne on August Bank holiday for three days and will celebrate its 28th consecutive year.
From Friday, 25th August to Sunday, 27th August you will see great artists such as Joanne Shaw Taylor, Janiva Magness, Lisa Mills, King King and many more at the Muni. Ian Siegal & his band, Miles Gilderdale, Rob Tognoni, Husky Tones, Michael Messer’s Mitra and others will perform at the Hippodrome and Tom Attah will be bringing some acoustic Blues to the Little Theatre.
This historical event gathers some of the best Rythmn & Blues singers and musicians from across the world on different stages in Colne.
The Road Houses situated at the Colne Legion, the Union Exchange, the Duke of Lancaster, the Admiral Lord Rodney, the Venue, the Crown, the Carlo’s (a great Italian restaurant part of the “roadhouse”), the Colne & Nelson Rugby Club and the Turners will provide smaller stages during this event and host more intimate sessions with upcoming artists. These smaller settings offer visitors the ability to discover or to enjoy their favourite performances from close in a fantastic community spirit.
